Solo

Florent Ghys presents his music and videos in a solo performance featuring upright bass, electronics, and videos. The setup is simple, requiring only a stereo PA system and a video projector.
Using a foldable travel upright bass, Florent can easily reach venues by airplane, ensuring accessibility to a diverse range of locations.

Past performances include the Detroit Institute of Arts, Radio France (Paris), the Bang on a Can Festival, LPR, Roulette, BAM, the Metropolitan Museum of Arts (NYC), and the Exit Festival (Serbia).

Stage Setup

The setup is delightfully straightforward.
A stage plot is provided on the right, accompanied by a more detailed Tech Rider below. No monitors are required, and only two DI boxes and two tracks (left - right) are needed.

Video projection is done from the stage area, necessitating accessibility for the video projector with a long HDMI cable or other types of connections (HDMI out from Florent's laptop).
